Islington Green – Third Space Gym
Drytech were employed to fit out the Partitions and Ceilings at the prestigious new Gym at Islington Green. Situated under the refurbished Victorian Sorting Office the new gym is the second largest in central London.
The gym has all the benefits of the new life-style centres around the country including swimming pools, fitness centre, HIIT, Hot Yoga and a Creche.
The partitions were high specification using British Gypsum products up to 4m high suitable for ceramic or natural stone finishes.
Ceilings were either MF type or a lay-in grid system.
The project was complicated due to the access and the location of the work areas.
Drytech designed and built special material handling cradles to safely transport materials from the ground to 14m below
